Description

9×6 cm acrylic ant farm with a gallery height of 0.8 cm. It features a water reservoir, a lidded foraging area, an external connection port, and a mushroom-style humidity system that can be refilled with a syringe via the top opening.

The ant farm includes a closing piece for the external connection—in case it is not to be used (meaning no plugs are required)—and a connection piece that ensures a perfect fit for the appropriate flexible tubing.

This ant farm is ideal for starting with small colonies of species that require medium to high humidity.

The mushroom provides the necessary ambient humidity as well as drinking water, although it is always advisable to have an external water source available, especially as the colony grows.

Important:

The mushroom has a lifespan of approximately 18 months, after which it must be replaced.
